A truly unique Sámi–Norwegian–Finnish collaboration arrives at REGYKLA, carrying the spirit of shamanic enchantment. A joyful, hypnotic meeting of masterful performers, where the oldest vocal tradition of Northern Europe flows together with contemporary improvisation, free guitar, and innovative sound design.

At the heart of the project is the remarkable Sámi artist Torgeir Vassvik, one of the leading voices of contemporary Sámi music, who has also left a lasting mark on the history of the Mėnuo Juodaragis festival. Vassvik brings the ancient animistic joik tradition into the present day, preserving its spiritual depth while opening new paths for artistic expression.

Joining him are Finnish-Norwegian guitarist and composer Juhani Silvola, and acclaimed sound designer Audun Strype, whose immersive sonic landscapes add another dimension to this extraordinary musical encounter.

Filled with shamanic intuition and ancestral echoes, this avant-garde Joik Noir performance will carry audiences away on a mesmerizing journey through the soundscapes of the North.
