"REGYKLA" FESTIVAL GUIDE
From July 31st to August 2nd, a new festival invites you to Ventė Cape, one of the most unique spots in Lithuania. To ensure our time together is smooth, joyful, and leaves the lightest footprint, we invite you to take a look at the tips in this guide.
Arrival
- Gate Opening: The festival gates will open wide on Friday, July 31st, at 10:00 AM.
- Ways to Travel: You can arrive by car, camper, bicycle, intercity buses, or by booking a seat on the festival buses departing from Vilnius and Kaunas. For more information, visit: https://regykla.mjr.lt/en/arrival/
- Tickets: We recommend downloading your e-tickets to your device in advance. This will help you avoid potential inconveniences in case of unstable mobile connection at the venue.
- Parking: Please park cars and campers only in designated parking areas and follow the instructions of the volunteers greeting you. Both free and paid parking lots are available, and you can book a spot in advance at the VIP parking lot. Map and more information: https://regykla.mjr.lt/en/parking/
Camping
- Camping area: Set up your tents only in the designated meadow. The main campsite is located 150–200 m from the festival action.
- Fire: Open fires and campfires are strictly prohibited near the tents. Please use barbecues and gas stoves with extreme caution and never leave them unattended. Enjoy only the safe, designated bonfires prepared by the organizers.
- Light: A personal flashlight will come in very handy!
Hygiene & Water
- Amenities: Toilets will be available near the camping area, gates, parking lots, and close to the main activity areas.
- Showers will be set up near the VIP campsite (accessible to everyone) – please use eco-friendly products only in these showers. Hot showers will also be available for an additional fee, where standard body care products can be used.
- Water: Drinking water stations will be provided, but we strongly advise bringing your own water supply as well.
- Swimming: Although we will be surrounded by the waters of the Lagoon, swimming elsewhere can be dangerous to your health. Please swim only in the designated area. IMPORTANT! The shores of the Lagoon are covered with sharp shells, so we highly recommend wearing water shoes or suitable footwear – otherwise, the medical team will have a very busy weekend!
- Saunas: A sauna zone will operate on the beach, where experienced sauna masters will invite you to enjoy traditional Lithuanian sauna rituals (for an additional fee).
Nature & Environment
- Weather & Clothing: Ventė Cape is a truly special place – the weather here can change drastically in a short time. Make sure to bring not only headwear and sunscreen, but also warm clothes, waterproof gear, and suitable shoes. Don’t forget mosquito and tick repellent!
- Birds: Bird migration takes place at Ventė Cape all year round. It is strictly forbidden to approach the netting traps or attempt to “free” any caught birds. The ornithological station staff will handle this safely.
- Wildlife: You might encounter roe deer and the resident moose who loves visiting Ventė Cape. Please leave them in peace.
- Packaging: Avoid single-use food packaging! Less packaging means less waste – and more room for flavor!
- Trash: Use your own trash bags or grab ones provided at Žinyčia (Information Centre). When leaving, let’s leave NOTHING behind!
- Smoking: Portable ashtray capsules for smokers will be available at Žinyčia. Not a single cigarette butt on the ground!
- Glass & Hazards: No breakable glass items, weapons, or dangerous tools. Let’s keep ourselves and others safe.
Safety & Security
- Person Responsible for Safety: You! That’s right, dear visitor, safety starts with you. Festival order will be maintained by professional security personnel and relatively peaceful bikers.
Belongings: Personal items tend to wander off or disappear, so please take good care of your belongings.
First Aid: The first aid station will operate 24/7. Do your best to ensure neither you nor anyone else needs it!
Trading and cash
- Vendors & Shopping: You will be able to purchase festival merchandise, music releases, artisan crafts, food, and drinks. Please bring cash, especially coins. The nearest ATMs are located only in Šilutė or Klaipėda.
- Reusable cup: We encourage you to bring your favorite mug or cup from previous festivals! Reusable cups created specifically for the Regykla festival will also be available for purchase at the event (price: €2). Please note that these are non-refundable and will not be bought back.
- Shops: If you run out of anything, there is a small grocery shop in Ventė. A few more can be found in Kintai (larger supermarkets are in Šilutė and Klaipėda).
IMPORTANT!
- Žinyčia (Information Centre): This is not only the place to get all the information you need, but also the lost-and-found station, a charging spot, and a Wi-Fi zone.
- Power: You will be able to charge your phones at Žinyčia, but available spots might be limited. Don’t forget to bring your own power banks!
- Mobile Connection: Due to the geographical location of Ventė Cape, mobile connection can be unstable (especially for “Tele2”) and may automatically connect to unintended foreign networks. To avoid unexpected roaming charges, we recommend disabling automatic network selection and data roaming on your phone.
- Photography: Feel free to take photos and videos, but please respect everyone’s privacy. Drones are permitted only with organizers’ consent. Any images or footage captured at the festival and published publicly may be used by the organizers for non-commercial purposes without separate approval from the authors.
- Pets: If possible, please leave your pets at home. If you must bring them along, make sure to read rule No. 11 of the festival rules: https://regykla.mjr.lt/en/tickets/terms/.
If you encounter any issues or need information, please reach out to the organizers or security staff directly (online comments and feedback are not monitored during the event).
See you at REGYKLA—may this celebration be truly wonderful and memorable!
